Spring time fun !!!

Well today was the first day we were able to get out & enjoy the sun & our first BBQ of the season. Rodney & I got up this morning did our housework and then headed out side for the rest of the day. We raked up the yard, put out some of our lawn furniture, Rodney cleaned the bbq & I played with the dogs. Then we toped it all off with the first BBQ, which was the best. Last night we went to Brandon to visit Aunt Barbara & uncle Ron, when we can back we went next-door to our neighbours house for a fire in the back yard, it is so nice to be able to get out of the house & enjoy the fresh air after all winter.
Rodney has started physiotherapy on his arm and things are going well with that, I have a Dr. appointment on the 12th of April & I will be 7 (28 weeks) months tomorrow (April 9th).
I have attached a few photos of the “kids” & us out side today, also one of me & Rodney taken at Aunt Barbara’s house last night (don’t mind my face I was talking …lol)

Baby Brake Makes 8 !!!!!!

Well we have more great news !!! Congratulations Jody & Craig…. They are expecting baby # two in Nov.

This is the craziest thing, that all the Crocker children would be expecting children of their own all in the span of 6 months … Mom and Dad Crocker are about to have their grandchildren total rise from 5 to 8. I bet they are still in shock…lol.

I was so happy to receive the e-mail from Jody this morning saying that everyone now knows about the pregnancy, Rodney & I have known for about 2 weeks now and I was just dying to put this post on our blog, I mean how often does something like this happen …it is so cool…lol. Jody said everything is going well and she is feeling good, so we wish her the best of luck.

In other news everything is doing well here and everything is also going well with Paula and baby Murphy.

Take care
Love you all

Night Out

Well last night Rodney and I had a great night out for a dinner & a movie, we went to see Stay Alive, I thought the movie was really good with a good story line, with just the right amount of jumpy parts. Rodney on the other hand enjoyed the movie but thought it should have been much more blood & guts.

We have been trying to get out as much as we can cause everyone tells us it will be much different in a few months when the baby arrives, I think the staff at Montana's knows us by name and the baby will probably arrive in this world with a steak knife in his/her hand...LOL.

The weather here has been great the last week and we are loosing most of our snow, my flower garden is clear & I am hoping the tulips & lilies I planted in Oct will soon be making a grand appearance, we are getting excited to get our backyard fenced in and the summer stuff out. I'm sure we will have a summer filled with nights out by the fire pit. I must say we have survived our first Manitoba winter with out any Major storms or problems ...Knock on wood...LOL.

Well that is my little rant for tonight, take care everyone we love you all

Ultrasound 25 weeks

Well We sill do not know if baby Crocker is a boy or girl, so I guess we will have to just wait…lol Everything went well and the baby was good and let them get all the measurements that they needed, I have to call the DR. Office in a few days to see if my placenta has moved. The baby’s heart rate was in the 155 ranges and the weight is almost 2 pounds. My next Dr appointment is in three weeks on the 12th of April, and I ’m not sure If will be having another ultrasound or not. I will keep you all updated on that.

Rodney Had is doing well and he is back to work tomorrow, but is not allowed to use his had /arm for another 8 weeks.

Other than that there is not a lot more news, Chat with you all later

Love Janis & Rodney

Rodney's cuts...

Saturday, March 18, 2006

This is a long one :-)

We have received the great news that Baby Murpy is a GIRL !!!!!, Paula had not decided on a name yet but as soon as I know I have attached a photo of the baby’s face. I sure hope we get lucky and someone slips up during the ultrasound on Tuesday and tell us the sex of our little one.

In other not so great news Rodney had a major accident on Tuesday. While I was at work, Rodney decided that he would remove the futon from the baby’s room and remodel the basement rec. He had everything finished and the last thing to do was to place our glass coffee table back where it belonged, as he was doing that he tripped and went through the glass, to protect his face he put up his arm, which resulted in 28 stitches… He Managed to drive himself to the hospital were they called me at work. I went over to find him with 3 major cuts (one was right to the muscle) a smile on his face saying “ we don’t have that coffee table down stairs anymore”…. lol. Typical Rodney… We then had to bring him to the Hospital in Brandon for the surgeon to repair the damage & stitch him up. Luckily the surgeon was a great one and he got the job done in the emergency room rather than having to have surgery. It has been 4 days since and he is starting to feel better and now has movement of his fingers.

We had a baby shopping spree yesterday, never thought I would have so much fun shopping for someone else other than me, I guess that all changes once you have a miracle on the way, even Rodney was having a great time putting things in the cart. We only have a few major things left to get and then we will be all set for the arrival of baby Crocker.

Tonight we went out for supper with our next-door neighbours, we went to Montana’s I have to say they have the best steak and I was so excited once I discovered that they have deep fried cheese cake, anyone who knows me well knows how I am for Jungle Jims chimmy cheese cake, and that I was broken hearted that there was no jungle jims in Manitoba. But my broken heart has been mended …lol …Montana’s cheesecake taste the exact same except it is in one large piece.

Well that will be it for tonight, this ended up being a lot longer than I thought, Rodney was raging on me cause I never posted anything in awhile….lol. I will post again on Tuesday after my ultra sound…

Oh I forgot to tell you all that I had a Dr. appointment on Wed (march 15) and all is going well I have gained a total of 9 pounds so far and my belly has the right measurement for 24 weeks.

Goodnight

Just thought I'd post a little bit on here while I'm at work & it is not that busy.

Everything has been going great, and I will be 23 weeks tomorrow, I can't believe how time goes by so fast. Rodney is off work all next week, he had to use up all his days before the end of March, we haven't got a lot planned, may just go to Winnipeg for a day.

Busters hip is doing very well he can now walk on all four legs...lol except when he is in a hurry, then its back to three.

March only has two birthdays Matthew and Ryan, So Happy Birthday to you both. Hope you have great ones.

Well I must get going Chat with you all later, if you get a chance take a look at the photos posted on msn, there is one of between the baby's legs!!! Can you tell what it is?

Baby Bump :-)

My Baby bump AT 5 months

Taken at last Ultasound, not that clear cause my scanner is broken.

Dr. Appointment update

Just wanted to let you all know that the Dr. Appointment went well, the baby’s heart Rate was at 160bpm again today. I received the results from the triple screening test and it came back fine.

The results from the Ultrasound that I had on the 14th were good as well except that my placenta is low which mean I may have to have a c-section, we will find out for sure in 6 weeks at the next ultrasound. As for the baby’s heart, the Dr. does not see any cause for concern right now and due to the baby’s heart rate being so strong he is sure the heart is fine, they will also be checking it out at the next ultrasound.

So that is all our news for now, I will keep you updated as we go.

Ultrasound :-)

Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to let you all know that our ultrasound today went well, although baby Crocker was a little stubborn like daddy (decided nap time came first) & wouldn’t let the tech get all the proper measurements of the heart and a few other things, we did manage to get a heart rate measurement which was 160 bpm. So we are back for another ultrasound in a few weeks. Other than that all is going well and baby is moving around more and more all the time.

We have a Dr. appointment on the 16th so I will be back with another update then

Take care
