Dr Appointment

Hey Everyone,

I had my Dr appointment today and in case you cant tell by the color ITS A BOY !!!!!!! our Dr did a quick ultrasound for us. We are so excited. Little Devin Rodney is in the right position to make his grand entrance into the world and all is looking great, he was even practicing his breathing during the ultrasound. My belly is not mesuring as large as it was last week but the Dr said that was because I have started to drop. but yet I still managed to gain 2 pounds in the last two weeks...lol
My next appointment is next wed.
Take care

Wacky Weather

Well I have to say that Shilo, MB has the wackiest weather I have ever seen, it is almost as strange as the weather in good old Newfoundland…. Lol Last week we had the most beautiful days with the temp up close to the 30s then Friday night the thunder storms started, they have to be the most craziest thunderstorms I have ever watched and they start out of no where, all day sat was beautiful once again, then throughout sat night & Sunday morning until about 8.30am the thunder storms rolled in. which is what brings me to post this blog, as I just got back from bring Rodney to work and sat down to eat breakfast I could see little specks of white going through the air & then out of the blue down dumped the Hail, it was just crazy. I of course just had to take a few pictures. Hope you all like them.

April showers brought April flower !!!!...lol

Hello everyone, how are ya all doing? Everything is going well here we have been busy as bees trying to get things done. We now have a fence up and the baby’s room done.

The weather here has been great not much to grumble about other than the scattered thunder storm, which I may say are pretty wicked up here…but I wont complain cause it is great for my flower garden, at first I had one lonely tulip but now more have opened…lol

We put the fence up two weeks ago & a big thank-you to Rick & glen for helping Rodney out it up. The doggies are enjoying it very much now that they have learned “oh we can play by ourselves without mommy & daddy”…lol. We don’t keep them out all day just for a few hours hear and there.

Last weekend we did they baby’s room, well Rodney did most of it, he painted ( light green ) and put up the shelves I just helped put up the deco’s on the wall and sewed the curtains, which I still have one more to make to give it more fullness. At least now we can say it is finished. Just hope our special little someone likes it as much as we do.

Well that’s about it my last Dr. appointment went well and the next is on May 10th, had to believe that I will be 8months this Sunday coming. I will post a photo Sunday night if I remember.
Take care

Spring time fun !!!

Well today was the first day we were able to get out & enjoy the sun & our first BBQ of the season. Rodney & I got up this morning did our housework and then headed out side for the rest of the day. We raked up the yard, put out some of our lawn furniture, Rodney cleaned the bbq & I played with the dogs. Then we toped it all off with the first BBQ, which was the best. Last night we went to Brandon to visit Aunt Barbara & uncle Ron, when we can back we went next-door to our neighbours house for a fire in the back yard, it is so nice to be able to get out of the house & enjoy the fresh air after all winter.
Rodney has started physiotherapy on his arm and things are going well with that, I have a Dr. appointment on the 12th of April & I will be 7 (28 weeks) months tomorrow (April 9th).
I have attached a few photos of the “kids” & us out side today, also one of me & Rodney taken at Aunt Barbara’s house last night (don’t mind my face I was talking …lol)

Baby Brake Makes 8 !!!!!!

Well we have more great news !!! Congratulations Jody & Craig…. They are expecting baby # two in Nov.

This is the craziest thing, that all the Crocker children would be expecting children of their own all in the span of 6 months … Mom and Dad Crocker are about to have their grandchildren total rise from 5 to 8. I bet they are still in shock…lol.

I was so happy to receive the e-mail from Jody this morning saying that everyone now knows about the pregnancy, Rodney & I have known for about 2 weeks now and I was just dying to put this post on our blog, I mean how often does something like this happen …it is so cool…lol. Jody said everything is going well and she is feeling good, so we wish her the best of luck.

In other news everything is doing well here and everything is also going well with Paula and baby Murphy.

Take care
Love you all

Night Out

Well last night Rodney and I had a great night out for a dinner & a movie, we went to see Stay Alive, I thought the movie was really good with a good story line, with just the right amount of jumpy parts. Rodney on the other hand enjoyed the movie but thought it should have been much more blood & guts.

We have been trying to get out as much as we can cause everyone tells us it will be much different in a few months when the baby arrives, I think the staff at Montana's knows us by name and the baby will probably arrive in this world with a steak knife in his/her hand...LOL.

The weather here has been great the last week and we are loosing most of our snow, my flower garden is clear & I am hoping the tulips & lilies I planted in Oct will soon be making a grand appearance, we are getting excited to get our backyard fenced in and the summer stuff out. I'm sure we will have a summer filled with nights out by the fire pit. I must say we have survived our first Manitoba winter with out any Major storms or problems ...Knock on wood...LOL.

Well that is my little rant for tonight, take care everyone we love you all

Ultrasound 25 weeks

Well We sill do not know if baby Crocker is a boy or girl, so I guess we will have to just wait…lol Everything went well and the baby was good and let them get all the measurements that they needed, I have to call the DR. Office in a few days to see if my placenta has moved. The baby’s heart rate was in the 155 ranges and the weight is almost 2 pounds. My next Dr appointment is in three weeks on the 12th of April, and I ’m not sure If will be having another ultrasound or not. I will keep you all updated on that.

Rodney Had is doing well and he is back to work tomorrow, but is not allowed to use his had /arm for another 8 weeks.

Other than that there is not a lot more news, Chat with you all later

Love Janis & Rodney
